Biochemistry, Endocrinology, Biophysics and Biostatistics.
M.Phil degree in Department of Genetics (University of Madras,
IBMS, 1986 to 1988), with a project in Cytogenetics under Dr.
S.T. Santhiya.
PhD (1988-1992) from the University of Cambridge, Department of
Genetics/Gurdon Institute, UK on “Design and use of Hox-2
gene targeting constructs in murine embryonic stem cells” in the lab of Professor, Sir Martin. J. Evans (Noble laureate in Physiology or Medicine 2007).
